PLASTIC PLANT

After beginning in the 1980s, Al Sharhan Industries expanded their plastic plant in 2010, increasing production fivefold.

In 2014, the machinery was further expanded with the addition of blow molding machines to product polyethylene bottles. These were used to produce containers for soap and other products, in sizes both small and large.

The same year saw additional output of machines to manufacture PET products. Two printing machines were also initiated, to print labels for the bottles.

In 2016, ASI purchased a blow molding machine intended for producing polyethylene bottles for products like sanitizers. With its speed and efficiency, the machine increased the rate of production.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Al Sharhan Industries really stepped up to meet the demand for essential products. A new fully automated blow molding machine was purchased to make hand sanitizer bottles, with an impressive capacity of producing bottles.
